Chad Denton Unfortunately, Chad Denton was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, the home of Jerry Falwell and his base of operations, where he still lives as of now. With fondness Chad remembers the first comic book he ever read, the issue of “Spider-Man,” where Spider-Man teams up with the Hulk to battle the Sinister Six, which made him fascinated with the high-concept soap opera that is the superhero genre, but he probably won’t be able to find that issue, which was long ago lost to his horribly disorganized comic book collection. His only experience in comics before “Hubris” is writing a children’s comic book for a non-profit organization, but he does have a prose non-fiction book, “Monarchs,” scheduled to be printed in the Spring of 2006 by Arcturus Ltd. Still, comics are one of his first loves, and he hopes to make a career in the industry sooner than later.
