The corpse of a renowned journalist has been found at the isolated headquarters of an organization. The problem is: this group happens to be the world's chief organization of super-powered beings, the Final Guard. A retired superhero, Stan Allen, and the Final Guard's most unethical member, Augusta, have been asked to fish out the killer before the 'discovery' could hurt the Final Guard's popularity, but the answers could be more damaging than even they suspect.
